5ks power mirrors

Audites,

I've recently resubscribed to the list after a hiatus of several months, due to
a job change.  I've lurked for a while but haven't had a reason to post
until now.
 
In that time I was given a 5ks ('85 with 250k+) that I'm currently trying to
put back 
on the road.  Engine/body/trans/interior/clutch all in excellent shape, just
the usual 
electrical problems.  Now, after repairing the power sunroof, climate
control system, 
blower motor (thanks Eric! your post in the archives helped on that one!),
and window 
regulators, I'm down to (I think) just one problem:  the power mirrors.

Here's what I can tell you:
-passanger door mirror was damaged and has been replaced.
-drivers door disassembles to repair window regulator.
-dash removed and replaced to repair climate control system.
-drivers door mirror was working prior to doing the above.

Now, neither mirror works.  The wiring in the doors looks good.  Fuse is
fine, since the 
power locks work, and the Bentley doesn't show a relay.  The Bentley does
mention a 7-point 
connector, labled as "T7" and states it's behind the instrument cluster,
though for some 
reason I cannot find it.  Does anyone know exactly where it is?  What color
is the connector?  
What assnine thing did I forget to do?  

I'm hoping to get at least a year out of this car while the wife and I
prepare to purchase
an A4 1.8T quattro :) :)

Comments like "you moron, it's behind the......" or "a**wipe, you forgot
to....." at this 
point WILL be tolerated, and strangely enough.. appreciated!
