I live near Evesham and until last year, I had a VW/Audi dealer 200yds from 
my house.  Then they lost the Audi franchise $%^&*!! - however, they can 
still order me parts (they never had them in stock anyway).

Agreed - I can't see the logic in it - VWs and Audis are so similar that I 
cannot believe it to be cost effective to split them - must be some 
marketing or image thing.
