VAG have reorganised their dealerships around here. By UK standards, I live in
a relatively poor area - our Audi dealership has gone to Northampton, and
Autohaus in Wellingborough has been rebadged "Volkswagen". Even the spares
have gone, and it's a minimum of one working day for me to get Audi-unique
parts. The even further down-market towns north of here have Seat dealerships,
using the VAG colour scheme.
This is a _COMPLETE_ split - it is no longer possible even to pick up
_brochures_ about Audis from Autohaus, or any information at all on VW or Audi
products from the Seat dealers. Despite the corporate imaging.
Madness - utter madness. Some child fresh from business school trying out the
theories the other professional non-doers have cooked up.
