Yes!  Two nuts, loosen, remove pump shaft, effectively taking pump out
of the system.
Takes 10 minutes tops, plus a 13mm wrench.  Afterwards can be replaced
back into service within another ten minutes!

Lifters require a bit more "in-depth" type of trouble shooting!
