After market seats in Audis? Seat interchangability, etc.

Just wondering if those of you who have put in really nice seats like
Recaros, etc. would mind sharing some specifics as to fitment.  What I am
concerned with is installing seats without losing headroom, or fore/aft
adjustability and rear seat access in an ur q.  

I have noticed the three-point mounting system is shared with VW; so A1, A2
GTI and Scirocco seats would go right in, and perhaps the Corrado's as well.
 Can anyone confirm this.

No, I don't have anything specific in mind, just gathering information for
something down the road.
