I our area (S.F southern bay, Cupertino/San Jose) the Behel Audi on the
Stevens Creek sells all A6-es now "up to 6500 under MSRP". I bought my
'97 A6QW two monthes ago ca. 5700 under MSRP (it's well under invoice,
too) and it looks like now the dealer is even more flexible. He has a
good assortiment of A6-es. If anybody goes there, don't buy what he has
on the lot in the front - I've seen both wagons (the blue A6QW and
the green A6W) damaged (by the dealer). The green one already returned
from the body shop and so probably the blue. He has some nice ones in
the back - a few are unprepared, still packed as they arrived from
Germany.
Sure, I choosed an "unprepared", white car - it wasn't even test-driven.
I've seen some A4-s there, but I was interested in the size of A6 (two
kids
"ready", one arriving this winter). The dealer stocked pretty well with
A8
as well - but it seems, they are even less popular here, than A6.
