Re: Inconsistent idle in '85 4KQ



Unhook the idle-air stabilizer and see if the problem goes away -- the idle
will be pretty crappy without the stabilizer, but it should be consistent.  The
stabilizer went bad on my machine and caused the 'galloping' in mine....... new
stabilizer, perfect idle..........
