Nope.  One wire goes to the oil pressure light (idiot light as we
call it) and the other to the gauge.  

I ended up having trouble hooking these up on my car, and I don't
recall how I did it, but I seem to remember that I had to disable
either the high or low light warning.  No matter, the gauge works
better anyway...
