My current Audi, an '89 100q with 156,000 miles on it is my 4th Audi. By
now I should know that there is no such thing as "normal" with an Audi.
Having said that, what is normal in terms of time for the red rectangular
brake warning light to go out.
Some mornings, like yesterday, it goes out with a second or so of the rest
of the display when Auto Check flashes OK. Other times, it has to take
30-40 second, and then there is a day like today when it took maybe 15
seconds.
Is this symptomatic of anything I need to be aware of. There is no loss
of Pentosin but I can force the red brake warning light to come on with
about 6 applications of the brake pedal.
Thanks.
