Well, i am in a position where I have a fiche that lists almost every
Audi part number (available in the USA anyway), what it lists for, what
warranty rate pays for the parts, what jobber pays and what the dealer
pays. It also lists if it still avaiable or not (see: obsolete). Printed
out, it would be about 720 pages!

Now granted, I am only up to date atthe time of the printing of this
fiche, but it is dated Feb. 30th 1997. So far, it has been a rare occasion
that a part that it listed as NOT obsolete has actually been obsolete
(confounded mud flaps!!!!!), but it could be true that the 20vt is NLA. I
do agree with you on the 3B though, this fiche list that part number as
obsolete, but not the core or the exchange part number, so I am betting
that they are available that way. Plus, I think that it is safe to assume
that the AAN it also available.
