Weird question about paint codes
Hi all,
I have taken some days off work between Christmas and the new year to get
some work done in my appartment. Too cold and rainy to work on my car,
although I will probably change the mangled front bumper for the very good
used one I bought recently.
Unfortunately, I really need to buy some shelving to put up my extensive
car magazine collection, and I'm gonna buy a new bed. I've now located a
bed that's cheap enough and looks nice in shape, but I don't like the wood
it's made of, so I'd like to paint it some groovy colour. Having seen one
done like that, my choice of colour is black metallic, or a _very_ dark
grey ('anthracite') metallic. Guess you have to be a graphic designer to
get such weird ideas, huh?
The only way to get such a paint is to have car paint mixed and use that
(no commercially available paints in metallic here), so my idea is to go
for one of those beautiful Audi colours (no-one but me would know, but I
just like the idea).
Can anyone give me the Audi colour code if his/her car is black metallic or
anthracite? I need the colour name (i.e. 'Tizianrot metallic') and the Audi
paint code from the sticker on the trunklid (i.e. 'LB 3V'). The model and
year of your car would be helpful, too.
TIA for your replies!
Tom (in grey, rainy Holland)
