re: hard shifting tranny

The transmission in my 5-speed '91 200q has been getting more and more
"notchy" in shifting into the first few gears.  I can feel the gears clash
slightly with each shift.  Sometimes, however, it seems to shift fine, and
usually shifts fine into 4th and 5th.  I've changed the tranny oil (twice),
lastly to Redline MTL.  No effect.  It started off with 2nd gear being
occasionally harsh; now it's getting worse.  Any thoughts?  I'm thinking of
changing the tranny/engine mounts just to make sure everything is lined up
correctly...
