Re: state farm sux
My wife is a licensed insurance customer service representative that has
worked for several insurance companies, including State Farm, and she
has selected State Farm as the insurer for our cars. She doesn't work
for State Farm now. We have never had any problem with claims
settlement with State Farm and she has found no other company that can
beat their rates for the same coverage. Her advice is: for good service
from any company it takes an agent that will go to bat for you. The
agent is more important than the company. It does help having someone
in the family that knows insurance, she managed to negotiate an
additional $250 on my hail damage claim last summer by noting the
proposed settlement was based on NADA value from a new quarter that was
issued two weeks after the loss.
