My old 1978 Fox has this "after run" feature, in that the fan circuit was
always powered, so if the switch said that the coolant was hot enough the
fan would go. The car also has a warning sticker stating that the fan could
start at any time. The '85 4kq seems to shut off the fan when I turn off
the car ... and I don't see a warning sticker, so I've always assumed that
was the proper behavior
... I guess I'll be checking Bentley tonight ...
