Next Mod for my 200Q?

It's warm again in New Hampshire!

I've lived with my 1990 200Q for almost six months now. The TAP chip/spring
combo have been flawless. We didn't get as much snow as I would have liked,
but it wasn't bad.

Throughout the winter I've found a couple of minor inconveniences that need
to be fixed in my car: rear-defroster switch, some window switches, etc.

However, the big question is this: What do I do about the turbo lag? Once
boost builds, the car goes along pretty well, but it seems to take forever
to get there. What can I do on this car to get some more low-end umph?

Also, what's the easiest thing to do to make this car see better at night? I
keep trying to clean the headlights, only to find that they're not dirty!
>From what I've read, this is a common problem. Is there a simple solution?

Lastly, the brakes do some nasty squealing. My mechanic says that they're
fine; just noisy. I prefer quiet to noisy. Any ideas there?

Thanks,
