Re: how do you make the a/c colder?

the LO setting for about 45 minutes. At best, I's say it had a moderate
cooling effect. The system was pressure tested and tested with a refrigerant
detector for leaks--none were found. The compressor is running fine. Is
there anything that can be done to get the a/c colder?

 TIA!

Move to Canada?? My R-134A 5000s has one of the coldest A/C systems in the
family. It will out cool my 5000QT.. Another thing I noticed is that it gets
colder quicker than my 5000Qt. Things to improve cooling efficiency:

Clean evap and make sure drain is unclogged
Make sure air channels around condensor and radiator are there and doing their
job.
Make sure the right amount and type of oil are in the system
Install a cooler engine thermostat
Install a smaller A/C clutch pulley, but note this will rob power at lower
RPMS
Check compressor for leaking valves
Install an electric condensor fan
Make sure the recirculation flap is open with A/C on..
Install a second condensor or bigger one...
Clean and inspect condensor for corrosion/damage
