Hi Steven;
I pulled the CV joints on my '86 5ktq at 150k km to replace the outer
boots. The outer joints were in excellent shape with no detectable wear or
play.
I have 254k km on the original joints in my '91 200q with no signs of
problems. These are very heavy joints and they appear to be well engineered
and well built. They should be good for many km if the boots are kept
intact.
