Re: Struts for an 854ksq

I have the exact same car -- year and model and I have BOGE Turbo Gas
shocks all round with the stock springs. The stock springs in those cars
hold up amazingly well - they remain tight throughout the car's life.

The BOGE Turbo Gas shocks are approx. 15-20% stiffer than stock -- just
enough for hard-cornering and awesome handling without the banging and
shaking of the too-stiff gas shocks like the Bilsteins.

The BOGEs don't sacrifice that Audi-centric smooth ride -- definitely the
best gas shock for the money in my opinion.

Also -- I've had those suckers in there for 3 years and the ride is still
as tight as can be -- stock springs and all.

You should also consider tire height/size when upgrading your suspension
because it does make a huge difference. I kept mine at 60 because it's a
'daily-driver' -- you can add/subtract height based on your preference.
