DON'T BUY THIS Q!!!!!!!

My message is a pretty harsh one, but it is true. I went on carbuyers.com,
found an 87 5kcstq for "$3600 obo". I saw it in Staten Island. Looked
pretty good. OWNER (WASN'T REALLY THE OWNER) claimed 67k orig miles. May
have been. Looked pretty good, lots changed, metal rad, etc. The guy was
really dodgy; wouldn't give home phone (I have caller id so I got it
anyway) and at one point gave me 8 phone numbers to reach him at.

Anyway, I went on Sat to look at it. He had 4 of his friends there, but he
wasn't. The driveway was freshly washed. I noticed discolored water, but I
discounted it as mud. Car drove nice, tranny mounts were shot, but lots
else was good. They had the car hot and running when I got there. Hate
that. Anyway, I give him a $2800 offer. He tries to pressure me in to
taking it then (higher price). Calls me back the next night tries to deal
up, but I was at 28 firm. He accepts.

I go back yesterday. It takes 2 1/2 hours to get there. Tolls, gas, time.
I am very picky;I won't buy unless I get one last look. His wife is home
(again, not him). I get a different story of who the car belongs to (his 4
friends gave me 4 diff ones, too). I start it get an oil light. Won't go
away. Valves rattling. I move the car back, oil is squirting all over the
place from the cooler. I noticed something suspicious when the dipstick
looked like it had fresh oil on it that WASN'T run. Not a trace of black.
anyway, I look down the driveway and all over the roads in his
neighborhood and there's oil everywhere and a trashcan lid where the car
was parked (where the oil cooler was). I yelled at the wife, etc left,
went home. I was happy I didn't get the car.

Twist: the guy calls me and tells me he's sorry, he didn't know and his
friend Costa (one of who showed me the car) hit a cement block. I said
that Costa didn't tell you? He said no. Then how did you know what he did?
I caught him in many lies like that. Who put the new motor oil and the
trash can there? I don't know.

Anyway, the car is a red 87 5kcstq, registered to a Ilias Moustakas (not
the seller). No trunk emblems, pre 85 urq wheels, no oiling system. Staten
Island. Advertised in carbuyers.com. Ithink that on sat, they warmed the car (maybe no leaks when warm) or
plugged the lines or cooler with something. At all costs stay away from
this car. He said that he WILL sell the car to someone else for the same
price. I'm very lucky.

killing you with beer."
