I would not worry about it if the engine is running well. My father has
NEVER touched the fuel injection system (aside from new fuel filters
every 50K miles and the occasional oxygen sensor) on his '82 Coupe.
Except for a cold-run problem that started perhaps 100K miles ago (most
likely a control pressure regulator issue), the engine has gone 375+K
miles without even having the fuel mixture adjusted. Yes, I have checked
the system and it is operating well within the checking parameters
specified in the Bentley manual. The sucker passes FL emissions with
numbers as low as my mother's 1995 minivan, even without a catalytic
converter (the honeycomb self-destructed a long time ago).

Nothing likely. The fuel injection in the Coupe isn't particularly
stressed. You have to be able to flow more air/fuel into and out of
the engine before you need to worry about fuel injection problems.
