... indeed it is.  There is a spring clip molded inside the visor that is
supposed to make the visor snap into the stowed position ... except
eventually the clip snaps.  If it were possible to procure a new clip the
surgery required to repair the visor would be fairly minor, but I don't know
how one would go about finding one.  I tried drilling a hole into the clip
and using a sheet metal screw to tighten things up, with limited success.

Indeed, plus quattro provides a level of active safety and the known
crashworthiness of the car should help you to sleep better at night ... :)
