R-134a conversion

Rumors of the cost of this conversion have been greatly inflated.  Contrary
to what many will lead you to believe, you do not need to replace the bulk
of you current system.  Items needed: Conversion kit form Autozone, $25.00
(kit contains two containers of fluid).  Guage kit for Autozone
(optional-but nice to have).  Can of R-134a refrig. $60 for a 30lb can from
Sams Club (or smaller can from auto parts store). 

The conversion kit allows the two types of oils to be compatible.  Used
this setup in 5 different cars, all are blowin cold.
