Heh..."a couple"...
On my panel there's a sticker that shows a nice little grid of relays,
and which does which--there's a similar page in the shop manual. I
don't think they had that grid at the factory when they assembled mine,
because the relays aren't even close to what the sticker says. BTW, if
anyone knows which relay is the multifunction relay for the airbag,
please let me know :(

Do you have a VW part number for that? It would be a good thing to
