typically this goes to the vacuum release switches in the pedal cluster
that are used to shut off the c-c when you brake or clutch.
there should be a hose going from the tee in the engine compartment to a
tee in the driver's footwell, then another pair of hoses from the
footwell tee to the respective vacuum switches in the pedal assembly.
over the years, i have found these hoses to be the number one reason for
inoperative c-c in audis...
