Thank you for clearing that up, I misidentified the active ingredient, it
is propylene glycol. Sierra is called low tox because it is rated as
"non-toxic" by the Consumer Products Safety Commision. The bottle clearly
says phosphate free, but says nothing of silicates. They mention
phosphates because they are an environmental issue. Phosphorus is a
micronutrient, but only in VERY small amounts and like many nutrients
(like heavy metals) can be deadly in higher doses. I haven't heard of the
silicates issue with VW/Audi, but fill me in if you know.
