V8 quattro 1990

Hello,

I have a problem with my left rear window which is stuck in the down
position. I suspect a wiring problem but I can't get to the problem!! I
simply cannot remove the panel. Sounds stupid but I have taken the door
handle and arm rest off and the panel is still on there really solid. Can
anyone help me. 

Also if anyone has a good parts store in the Seattle area and a good
mechanic I would like to hear about it.
