Those thing usually just attach with one phillips head screw.  What
model car you have?  You must be too far into the future for me to
help...

I have dozens of door switches at least, one and two terminal, the later
ones have a nice boot to seal them to the door but it doesn;t cover the
screw.

One on every junkyard door...
