The spares microfiche gives 855 837 397 A for the left side window lifter
and 855 837 398 A for the right up to chassis 85-E-900679.
>From then onwards it gives 855 837 397 B for the left and 855 837 398 B
for the right.
However - there's a note to check the workshop manual.
The workshop manual states: "Following the introduction of higher door
windows, distinguishable by a white dot after the lettering, a more
compact electric window lifter was fitted. The new winder can only
be fitted to earlier or replacement doors if two additional holes
are bored in the door."
It then describes a template - a square piece of steel plate 135mm on
each side. Three 6mm locating holes are bored, presumably to locate
the template on the existing holes. Working in dimensions from the
top left, the first 6mm hole is 28mm down and 28mm in, the second is
74mm down and 104mm in, and the third is 106.5mm down and 13mm in.
The 8mm holes, measured from the same top left corner, are 90.5mm down
and 104mm in (directly below and 16.5mm away from one of the locating
holes) and 118.5mm down and 45mm in.
