RE: cleaning

I was wondering with all the talk on cleaning cars. What do you use when
cleaning a dash(treating, preserving, oiling, ect...). In the past, I have
always used baby oil. With my A4 dash, I am scared to, it has a funky feel to
it. Also what can be used to wax or polish the wood trim. I know it is wood
under the clear shell. The wood itself will not be damaged, but over time I
have seen trims similar to those used in the newer Audi's fade(bleach out), or
cloud up. Not sure if it will happen, but doesn't hurt to try and protect it.
Also wondering what is the best car wax. Currently I have been using a
Mequires. I wax it twice in two weeks(each coat waxed in a different
direction). Then will not wax it again for roughly 4-6 months. So far
Mequires is great, but I have seen Zymoil and was wondering if anyone out
there swears by it.
One last thing, I was wondering if anyone ever get those ugly black lines(
almost like a scratch). This happens when I accidentally touch the car with
my ring, bracelet or other metal. Usually this happen when the car's paint
contacts gold. I am not sure if my watch will do it. The black line will
stay until I wax the car. Goes away with out any type of mark being left
behind. If it matters I have the casablanca white paint.
I guess one more last thing, sorry for the run on mail, what type of polish
do you reccomend for treating chrome. I have used zip wax or what ever the
can with the turtle on it is(oops turtle wax, DUH). It does a cruddy job or
at least seems like it, any better ideas.
	Thanks in advance
