Re: Cross drilled or slotter rotors? Opinions needed



 my experience is that the cross drilled rotors have the cool factor
going for them but that is about it unless the holes are cast in
rather than drilled.  if the holes are drilled in [and even if the
holes are champhered],  they are prone to stress cracking.  have not
had any warping though on two different porsches [930 and 911sc] w/
cross drilled rotors.  the gas slotting actually works pretty well and
is far more robust than drilling
