On a simular note I have a problem with my 4kq.

When cruising i.e. not really accelerating nor slowing down there is a lot of
surging and/or cutting out.
When accelerating or decelerating everything is fine.
Actually on the highway it's O.K. just when putting along at 30mph in fifth
@~2kRPM it's most noticable.  I thought it's the F.I. system but have checked
everything and I can't find a problem.
Installed a new O@ sensor but still same problem.
CO is set and timing is at 10 degrees advance.
No vacuum leaks either.
If it's ignition I have not had much experience fixing it yet so any leads would
be apriciated.

Otherwise car runs great, lot's of power and good fuel economy.

Just trying to get it perfect.
