Try holding the 'removed' injector firmly in place while the engine
is cranked.  I had an MB down in Bicester one day that was stopped
by a single bad injector seal.

What was the _exact_ sequence?  Did you leave the line attached or
pull the injector with it on?  Did the upper seal come with the
injector or stay in the seat?  If it stayed in the seat, did you
recover it and put it back on the injector before replacing it?  Did
anything happen to the injector tip - did it come off in the seal
and drop into the seat?  Is the top of the injector _absolutely_ 
aligned with the others?
