OK, my Illinois Title reads Sport Quattro under model, and it's not either...

Sure looks the same to me too, after also looking in the Audi Quattro
portfolio, Martin. Maybe instead of pictures and Microfiche, someone in the
UK can help you out. From NO pictures and no Microfiche, I ordered the
Scorpian SS system for my 84 Urq, and it didn't bolt on. Not a chance in the
stock config. Even with the proper pipe to make the rear muffler work, the
hangers do not line up. I'm not the only one that had this problem. Curious
eh? So, dunno about your pix or microfiche Mr. Martin, but I can maintain my
btdt (and others too) that the original question stands with the original
answer. The Scorpian system from the UK doesn't bolt on to the US car. I
believe you might want to ask the question, does the Scorpian system bolt on
to the UK car? I make the assumption it does, maybe Phil can help you out.

You are confusing me. Have you done the Scorpian system? Have you seen it
mounted in any Urq? I can only share that up to the back of the rear subframe
the scorpion bolts in very nicely, btdt. I can also share that after the rear
subframe, the scorpian doesn't "bolt-om" at all, no matter which way you want
the muffler to exit, btdt. I can also share that a six in piece of pipe can
fix that problem, btdt. I can also share that a 3in cat can fit in the
original cat location by cut and flanging. I can also share that, none of
the hangers from the scorpian to the audi mate up. BTDT. Me, my car, my
Scorpian? Whatever. The system sure is quiet, and makes a big improvement in
performance, so I could car less about the why.

I assumed Scorpian used a 10vt Urq to make the Scorpion system they built. I
also assumed since Scorpian is located in the UK, they used a UK car.
Outrageous? Ok, maybe. I'm just the nutball that ordered the Scorpian system
from the UK, installed it on my car, and answered the original question posed
that the Scorpian system sold by Scorpian for the US Urq will NOT bolt on to a
US car. But it DOES work with minor modifications, so posted. Appreciate and
so note all your homework on the rear valence and microfiche and pictures.

Given the mods one needs to make to the rear muffler, I'm not sure it matters
what bumpers/mods you want to make. After the rear subframe, you can adapt
the rear muffler tip to exit just about wherever you want.

Never asked, not sure I really care, just sharing btdt. And for the price of
the Scorpian, a 6in piece of pipe to make it work hardly broke the bank or the
ruined the project. I rack it up to another "Bolt-on" modification claim that
leaves it to the installer to adjust the definition and execution of the term.
BTDT many times, especially with quattros.

Way more information than is really necessary. Martin, take a jump at
Scorpion, I just answered the original posters question with my btdt.
