Re: Scorpion - FYI

After a little more picture looking, and a confirming call to Dave at
Revsport, here's the deal with the 10vt Urq Scorpion system. Seems the boys
in the UK had themselves a bonified A1 Rallye car from which to jig the 10vt
Urq exhaust system. If you take a gander at page 27 or 41 of the Audi Quattro
Gold Portfolio, you can see the rear valence is different than either the US
or UK factory Urq's, specifically the exhaust pipe exits thru the A1 valence
dead center, instead of drivers side ala US/UK production cars systems.

So, you will find that the fit on the Scorpian 3in 10vt Urq system is bolt on,
from the turbo outlet to the back of the rear subframe. To exit the
production stock valence, you will need to either add a 6in 45 bent tube to
angle the rear muffler towards the valence (my btdt), or cutoff the rear
muffler from it's forward pipe and rotate the muffler 180 degrees and
reinstall (Revsport btdt). Either method works well with little modification,
and a 3in cat will install in the stock cat location (EPA legal) without the
cat being the lowest clearance under the car.

This is complete bolt-on mod for any lister with a A1 Rally car, however.
