Can I fix a ding with dry ice?

I got a ding on the roof of my new A4.  Got the insurance adjustment,etc. 
Problem is, can't fix it with paintless dent repair tools as it as on the
roof rail and has another piece of metal support making innacessible.  So,
could I possibly do this by heating with say really hot water or something
and using dry ice.  It looks like a golf ball landed on the car.  I don't
want to have to have it painted if I can help it.
