Re: WTB: 89 200 tqw owner's manual

Samir

I bought an 89 200tq from a PO who finally had it repo'ed and thought
maintance was having the oil changed. EVERYTHING on this car that was exposed
to the weather was rusted. It was obvious he never had the engine compartment
washed. I have washed it more than ten times already. What a difference!
The things that were just mildly rusted and dirty are clean. I quickly found
and repaired all the fluid leaks, and the brackets and such that were rusted
really bad were replaced with ones I salvaged off a 22k frontal wreck. Total
cost was less than $200 and about two weeks of parttime labor. I don't know
or even want to think about what it would have cost to have someone else do
it. My point is just that for me the results were definitely worth the
effort. I really love this car and hopefully you'll have good results with
your's as well.

Good Luck
