Seriously, though, folks, I agree identifying individuals who
are reeeeeeal slooooooow when reaching for their checkbooks
is helpful to the list. Otherwise, they will just take advantage
repeatedly, in the true spirit of moocher-hood or worse. I'm sure
a lot of money has been saved by having these folks known
to the list when possible. Just be convinced you have solid
grounds before a public defaming or a pubic flaming.

What Stephan may fear, as do I, are those nasty, personal
attack-o-grams, vendetti and smear campaigns that
sometimes spill over onto the list. Those serve no one.

My suggestion is to come to know potential buyers/sellers
by the way they present themselves on the list over a
period of time before deciding to do business with them.
Then start small and work up.
