If it's coming from UNDER the car, like the middle of the car, then it
sounds like it has something to do with the driveshaft. While I've never
seen or heard of this, maybe the center support bearing is causing this?
(Usually they whine) or maybe (really unlikely) one of the CV joints on
the ends of the prop shaft is going? Perhaps one of the mounting points
for the center support bearing somehow came loose? These are all unlikely,
but I can't think of anything that would come from under the center of the
car.
