Well, The insurance adjusters came out from progressive to do the claim,
and the damage came out to about $2k.  Just under the "totaled" value for
the car...  This is the second time dealing with progressive, and I'm not
terribly impressed.  For one thing, the body shop in Manchester that I use
(McDowells.. good shop for those who need good work done) wouldn't even
take my business if I brought progressive into the equation since they
only pay a fixed (low) rate for labor.  I like their work, so I just pay
the extra amount out of pocket for their work.  Thanks again to everyone
who sent their condolences.  After something like this I needed a few
shoulders to cry on :-(
