Sierra Coolant - Was MY HOT Quat

I was looking at coolant specs at the store yesterday
and I noticed that Sierra (non-toxic, phosphate-free)
coolant has a boilover point 15 degrees below that of
the others (Prestone, etc). Does it have poor heat
transfer properties? Could this explain some of the
hot problems with my 1983 UrQ? Anyone else using it
with good results? It's hard to find phosphate-free
coolant at your average parts store.
