My '87 5kTD is specified to have a top speed of 112 mph and an
acceleration from 0-60 of 13.3 seconds.. Not _that_ bad, but
definently no powerful engine.. The nice thing is that the over 3000
lbs car gets about 40-45 mpg without problems, even with 180K miles..

The NA diesel had 70 hp, that thing used 22 seconds from 0 to 60 and
had a top speed of about 95 mph..
