I thought that was bad until my wife's sister showed up with a blown heater
hose on her Dorf Contour. The hose is about two feet long, has several
bends molded in, and features one size of opening on one end and a slightly
larger size on the other. It rubbed on an electrical connector bracket as
installed at assembly, so the replacement hose comes with an additional
rubber shield. It cost her $105 because it isn't included in drivetrain
warranty coverage by the company. To me, it should be a $10 hose, and
then only because of the different sizes on the end.
