I have washed my Coupe GT's engine bay many times.  And yes somtimes it
does not start right away.  The trick is to always have a can or CRC or
the like on hand to spray down the distributor and wires if it does not
start.  I have never had a problem after doing this.
BTW, I have to do my 86 4kq it is looking dirty.  Thanks for the
