so, like, I am supposed to explain "why"?

'cause when you tighten the bolts it touches...

btw, the place it touches is the right hand side boss that looks like it
could mount the tranny to some sort of pair of mounts (one boss on each
side) and its easy to cut off with a sawzall.

Are the trannies just "about the same dimensions" or is it the same
casting?
