RE: a stupid friend of mine

Zain,

>From the TT specs on http://www.audiusa.com:

rear suspension: Torsion-beam axle with trailing arms, stabilizer bar,
separate coil spring and shock absorbers (gas
                            charged), toe correcting axle bushings

The TT only has a multi-link rear suspension if it's Quattro(ie. Haldex).
Also, the Audi A3/S3 is built on the same chassis as the new Golf, Jetta,
TT, New Beetle and the odd Seat and Skoda.

This is just like the A4 and Passat using the same basic chassis. Hopefully
this means parts will be cheaper.
